Choosing a Realtor is a BIG decision! You’ll be sharing many details of your life with them and spending a good amount of time working toward your goals together. Here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a Realtor:
Experience – not just in the number of years or properties sold, but in a commitment to knowing their market and what drives buyers and sellers to purchase property. It’s about guiding families in making big decisions under not always ideal conditions. Helping families reach their goals, to get where they’re going … putting their needs first.
Brokerage – you’re not just hiring one Broker, you’re hiring Rogue Real Estate Sales & Property Management, a regionally respected brand! On top of that, you’re hiring the office staff and Principal Broker who stand behind your Broker and support them while they support you. A good atmosphere in the office and healthy relationships among the brokers is good sign that you’re making the right choice.
Marketing – Most Brokers can offer similar marketing packages; signs, flyers, open houses, websites, etc. Make sure the look and quality of these items meets your expectations. A high-quality visual and online presence, using professional photographs and designs, will help sell your home quicker and for the highest dollar amount because high-quality buyers will be attracted.
Chemistry – After all, it’s a relationship you’re getting into. Look for good chemistry, a positive attitude, organization and most of all, good communication skills. Buying and selling homes requires a lot of work from all parties and it’s important that you get along with and just plain “like” your Realtor!
